Nice and soft. The gator part of is a perfect not too tight. The hood is loose fitting the way I like it.

    I love the look. The first day I put it on the threading was coming out and it has a hole in it. Terrible quality.

    What problem we were trying to solve

    We needed a winter face mask that stays warm, blocks wind, fits well under helmets or jackets, and doesn’t feel scratchy or bulky during outdoor activity.

    What actually happened when we used it

    This balaclava delivers excellent warmth thanks to the thick fleece lining, and the windproof outer layer really helps on cold, gusty days. The fit is snug but comfortable, and it stretches enough to accommodate different face shapes. Breathing through the mask is easy, and moisture doesn’t build up too quickly. It works well under hats, hoodies, or helmets without bunching, and it keeps the neck, cheeks, and nose fully covered. For the price, the warmth and performance make it a great value for winter use.
